We have several opportunities currently available.  We are seeking several dynamic individuals to develop new business, while maintaining long term relationships with our current clients. Industry experience preferred, but there are entry level positions available, and training will be provided. Position Objective


 


The objective of this position is to generate sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Develops and implements agreed upon Marketing Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area. The incumbent will work within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company’s vision and values.


 


Position Responsibilities



  1. Responsible for the sales of professional website services tailored exclusively to counties, towns, and cities.

  2. Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Website Consultant to give effective presentations of eGov Strategies comprehensive content management systems.  

  3. Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Sales Director, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which will focus the Website Consultant on meeting or exceeding sales quota.

  4. Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.

  5. Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.

  6. Maximizes all opportunities in the process of closing a sale.

  7. Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.

  8. Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling on business owners, , email, and networking where the opportunity is available.

  9. Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.

  10. Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and the eGov Strategies content management solutions to their problems.

  11. Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.

  12. Demonstrates the ability to gather, submit detailed business information for pricing, and presentation of solutions to identified prospects’ business problems.

  13. Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory, including the use of Maximizer to maintain accurate records to maximize territory potential.

  14. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.

As a Website Consultant you will receive a competitive salary, unlimited commission, comprehensive benefits, vacation, paid training, and a fun group to work for.


 


Your salary will depend upon your past experience and availability. High-achieving consultants can expect to make $85,000 or more in the first year alone.

Other Specifications



  1. 2-5 years of sales experience with the ability to learn and sell content management systems of the organization. 

  2. Experience with enterprise software solutions and small to large, complex organizations.

  3. Extensive experience in all aspects of Sales/Client Relationship Management.

  4. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

  5. Proven ability to achieve sales quotas.
